About The Role
The role will coordinate with all the stakeholders across the site with support and capture all the Continuous Improvement events which includes Kaizen, A3, Kaizen events, VSM, Standard Work, SMED, Kanban, 5S, Pull System, Breakway Savings, OEE and unit cost results into improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify 8 waste in the value stream and reduce/eliminate it.
- Implement 5S standards across site.
- Monitor & Improve OEE of site machineries.
- Conduct Time & motion study with improvement plan.
- Implement Standard work Practices across site.
- Identify Ideas & make it feasible to achieve breakaway savings with stakeholders.
- Facilitate the Kaizen events/A3 & kaizens.
- Conduct JCC for all the CI initiatives.
- Machine related Weak signal analysis.
- Unit Cost study & reduction plan.
- CoPQ study & Reduction Plan.
- Organise Rewards & recognition events.
- Participate in EEA trainings & Assessment to achieve EEA requirements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce/eliminate customer complaints through CI.
- Identify opportunities to reduce/eliminate safety hazard & risk through CI.
- Implement SMED practices to reduce the changeover time in site.
- VSM study & identify the projects to reduce the lead time.
- Implement Kanban/Pull system in site.
- Develop team members in site towards lean thinking.
- Study of Process capability.
- Implement all lean tools in site
What You Will Bring
Diploma in Mech/Electrical with 5 Years of experience in implementing lean tools. Understand 8waste, Kaizen, A3, Kaizen events, VSM, Standard work, SMED, Kanban, 5S, Pull system, Breakaway Savings, OEE & unit cost results into improvement in Safety, Quality & Productivity.
Minimum experience:
- 5 years in manufacturing industry
- Implemented 5S tools
- Implemented 8 Waste Projects
- In-depth knowledge of OEE, preparing A3, Kaizen and involved in cost saving projects
