The Hitachi Energy India Operations Center (INOPC) houses over 3,000 energy transition technologists in three locations from grid automation, transformers, high voltage products, grid integration and service businesses. Identify the improvement opportunities with respect to the current Business needs and future Growth plans. Review and finalize plan for each year in coordination with BU Operations.
How you'll make an impact:
Work closely with the hub operations and CIL team, Train and Facilitate Improvement Projects through Kaizens - key team members 100% trained
Create Kaizen Funnel and Kaizen schedule and implement the plan as per schedule - review monthly with BU operations
Ensure that all project managers of CIPs measure and track the improvements and report the same in the RELEX - monthly before target date for all CIPs.
Provide necessary training on Lean Tools as needed and develop Subject Matter Expert (SME's) for key lean Tools - as per plan
Understand the current Continuous Improvement methodology LOM / Lean Deployment model
Create Training and Development Plan and Provide necessary Training on the Lean Tools to the key Leaders and Management team as needed
Understand Technical specification and help with Process finalization based on data validation
Managing expectation of LPGs/Customers across diverse geographies & cultures.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical /Mechanical/ any).
with Min Experience of 5 years in continuous improvement projects
Should be certified Lean Six Sigma Green belt
Knowledge on Statistical data analysis and Proficient in understanding lean concepts, Continuous improvement andPrior relevant Industry experience.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Stakeholder Management through continuous interaction with Business Leaders and Partners across the globe.
Experience in SAP / MRP and Power BI
Experience in Projects related to Cost avoidance and process time reduction
