Job Summary

We are seeking experienced professionals specializing in contingent workforce procurement, temporary staffing, contract staffing, and vendor management. The candidate will be responsible for managing contingent staffing requirements, sourcing staffing vendors, onboarding suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting the acquisition and fulfillment of temporary workforce requirements.

The role requires strong experience working with staffing agencies, recruitment vendors, procurement teams, hiring managers, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure cost-effective and timely workforce deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement and sourcing of contingent workforce, temporary staffing, contract staffing, and staff augmentation services.
  • Identify and onboard staffing agencies, recruitment firms, independent contractors, and workforce suppliers.
  • Acquire and manage new contingent staffing requirements from enterprise clients, procurement departments, MSPs, and vendor management teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with procurement heads, talent acquisition leaders, HR business partners, workforce managers, and staffing program managers.
  • Participate in supplier registration, vendor empanelment, RFP/RFQ processes, and staffing vendor onboarding programs.
  • Negotiate staffing markups, hourly billing rates, monthly billing rates, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
  • Manage staffing rate cards, vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Work with MSPs and Vendor Management Systems (VMSs) to access and fulfill temporary staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate with recruitment and delivery teams to fulfill open positions within agreed timelines.
  • Manage contract extensions, workforce ramp-ups, resource replacements, and temporary staffing demand.
  • Monitor supplier performance, submission-to-interview ratios, time-to-fill, fulfilment rates, and commercial margins.
  • Ensure compliance with client procurement policies, background verification, onboarding procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain a pipeline of staffing opportunities and develop long-term relationships with enterprise clients and staffing partners.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 6–15 years of experience in contingent staffing, temporary workforce procurement, contract staffing, staffing vendor management, or workforce solutions.
  • Experience acquiring staffing requirements from enterprise procurement teams, MSPs, and staffing program managers.
  • Strong understanding of staff augmentation, temporary staffing, contract hiring, and contingent workforce models.
  • Experience with staffing vendor empanelment, supplier onboarding, rate negotiations, and commercial contracting.
  • Familiarity with MSP/VMS ecosystems and platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or Coupa.
  • Experience working with recruitment agencies, staffing suppliers, and talent delivery teams.
  • Strong business development, relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of staffing margins, billing rates, markups, payment terms, and workforce compliance.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with large enterprises, multinational corporations, IT services companies, or global staffing programs.
  • Existing relationships with procurement teams, MSPs, and contingent workforce decision-makers.
  • Experience managing high-volume temporary staffing and multi-vendor staffing programs.
  • Knowledge of IT, engineering, finance, operations, and other professional staffing categories.
  • Experience with vendor portals, supplier scorecards, and workforce procurement reporting.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Number of new contingent staffing clients and staffing programs acquired.
  • Number of successful vendor empanelments and MSP/VMS registrations.
  • Volume of temporary and contract staffing requirements secured.
  • Staffing requirement fulfilment rate and time-to-fill.
