Love & Cheesecake, founded by Mrs. Ruchyeta Bhatia and Chef Amit Sharma in 2012, is Mumbai's premier dessert destination. From a 200 sq. ft. experimental kitchen in Bandra, we've become a top choice for celebrities and food enthusiasts alike.We offer 120 flavors, including eggless options, all crafted with imported Dessert Cheeses and natural ingredients. Our desserts are always fresh and handcrafted daily, available for citywide delivery.

In the summer of 2016, we happened upon a perfect cozy space in the hustling-bustling by lanes of Bandra, Mumbai and Poetry by Love & Cheesecake was born. A lively all-day neighbourhood-style cafe, we serve American-European eats & classic beverages in understated digs. Open from 8am-12am, 7 days a week, our deep sense of hospitality, playful sense of humor and reasonable pricing has made us revise familiar twists on everyday food. By September 2022, Poetry was present in Mumbai & Pune at 20 location.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai & Navi Mumbai for a Continental Chef who will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of continental dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, maintaining kitchen hygiene.The role also involves developing innovative menus, managing kitchen inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in continental cuisine preparation, menu development, and food presentation techniques.
• Proficiency in kitchen management, inventory control, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail in culinary practices and tackling kitchen challenges.
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field. Certification in Continental Cuisine is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Continental Chef role or a professional kitchen environment is highly desirable.
