We are looking for a hands-on Technical Content Writing Manager to lead and scale our function for a B2B SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with both India-based and US-based stakeholders, demonstrate strong people leadership, and remain deeply involved in writing and reviewing technical content. This role requires the ability to step in and author high-quality content independently when needed, while also building sustainable content processes and teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the technical content strategy for a B2B SaaS product catering to enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Create and publish high-quality technical blogs, whitepapers, technical reports, and eBooks.
- Translate complex data management concepts (data governance, data quality, data integration, metadata, analytics, etc. ) into clear, audience-friendly content.
- Ensure documentation aligns with product releases, customer needs, and US enterprise expectations.
- Actively write technical content when required, especially for complex features, critical releases, or high-visibility documentation.
- Review, edit, and rewrite content to meet quality, accuracy, tone, and usability standards.
- Step in to resolve content gaps or quality issues when deliverables are not meeting expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical writers across regions.
- Set clear expectations, review performance, and coach team members on technical depth and writing quality.
- Balance delegation with hands-on involvement to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with US-based product managers, engineering teams, customer success, and sales engineering, as well as India-based delivery teams.
- Serve as a bridge between global stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistency in documentation.
- Define and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical content writing for B2B SaaS products.
- 2+ years of experience in a manager or lead role, managing technical writers or content teams.
- Proven experience working with both India-based and US-based stakeholders or customers.
- Strong hands-on experience writing SAAS Product documentation and technical content.
- Ability and willingness to independently write and revise content when quality, timelines, or complexity demand it.
- Excellent written communication, stakeholder management, and review skills.
