Content Writing Intern

We're looking for a curious, research-driven Content Writing Intern who can turn complex topics into clear, engaging content.

You'll write across real estate, PropTech, immigration and wildlife conservation, adapting your writing to different audiences, brands and formats. Long-form content will be a core part of the role.

What You'll Do

• Research and write SEO articles, blog posts and other long-form content.
• Create newsletters, press releases, social media captions and email marketing copy.
• Extract key insights, quotes and themes from long videos, interviews and podcasts to create articles, carousel copy, captions and short-video scripts.
• Adapt your tone and structure to suit each topic, audience and platform.
• Verify facts, use credible sources and make unfamiliar subjects easy to understand.
• Write effective headlines, introductions, meta descriptions and calls to action.
• Create content that supports higher readership, stronger Google search visibility and opportunities to be cited in AI-generated answers through Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
• Edit and proofread your work, incorporate feedback and meet agreed deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Confidence in researching unfamiliar topics and writing beyond one niche.
• An understanding of different content formats and audience needs.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, search intent and Google's guidance on helpful, reliable, people-first content.
• Familiarity with E-E-A-T: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness.
• Basic awareness of Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
• The ability to identify useful content angles within long videos while preserving the speaker's meaning and context.
• Original thinking, sound editorial judgment and a willingness to learn.

Our Approach to AI

We encourage using AI to support research, brainstorming, outlining and editing. The final content must be human-written, fact-checked and refined, with your own thinking and editorial judgment. Submitting unedited AI-generated content is not acceptable.
