Content Writer/Script Writer (Social Media)

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for ideating, researching and writing scripts for short-form and long video content that hook viewers, retain attention, and drive engagement. Your role will also include writing social media posts and captions. You will research topics, think of new content ideas, check your work for errors, and make sure everything is clear, engaging, and easy for the audience to understand. You'll work very closely with the video editor to deliver ready-to-produce scripts with voiceover lines and subtitles built-in.

Salary: Rs. 18,000 - 20,000/month (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research topics to create accurate, engaging, and relevant content

2. Write scripts for short-form and long-form videos that grab attention, keep viewers engaged, and encourage interaction.

3. Write social media posts and captions.

4. Create voiceover using tools.

5. Proofread and edit content to remove errors and improve clarity

6. Ensure all content is easy to understand and matches the brand tone

7. Work closely with the video editor to deliver ready-to-produce scripts

8. Stay updated with content trends to improve performance and engagement

Requirements

1. 0-1 year of experience as a Content Writer or in a similar role.

2. Strong research, writing, and proofreading skills.

3. Strong understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, etc.

4. Should be comfortable managing timelines and sticking to deadlines.

5. Good command of written English and the ability to express ideas clearly

6. Should have basic understanding of using AI tools

7. Willingness to learn, improve, and take feedback positively

Location: Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-time (5 days a week), 9-hour workday (Flexible Timings)
