Job Title: Content Writer & Producer – Personal Finance

About The Role -
Hindustan Times Digital Streams is looking for a dynamic Content Writer & Producer with strong expertise in the personal finance domain. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of financial concepts and the ability to create engaging, insightful, and platform-friendly content across digital and multimedia formats.
This role is ideal for someone who can combine financial knowledge with storytelling and content production capabilities to build impactful consumer-focused finance content for today's digital audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, and develop high-quality content across personal finance topics including investments, savings, insurance, taxation, credit cards, loans, mutual funds, and financial planning.Create engaging scripts and content for multimedia formats including videos, podcasts, reels, shorts, and social-first content.Work closely with video production, branded content, social media, and editorial teams to execute high-impact digital content initiatives.Simplify complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand, relatable, and audience-friendly storytelling.Ensure accuracy, editorial quality, platform relevance, and consistency in tone and messaging.Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and evolving audience behaviour in the personal finance and fintech ecosystem.Contribute innovative ideas for new content formats, audience engagement, and creator-led storytelling initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
4–8 years of experience in content writing, scripting, or digital content creation within the personal finance, fintech, BFSI, or financial services domain.Strong knowledge of personal finance concepts and consumer finance products.Hands-on experience in content production and multimedia storytelling across videos, podcasts, and digital platforms.Excellent writing, editing, scripting, and communication skills.Ability to convert financial jargon into engaging and accessible content for mass audiences.Strong understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement, and platform-specific storytelling.Experience working within media, digital publishing, or branded content environments will be preferred.
Preferred Profile
Prior experience in digital media houses, fintech platforms, or financial content ecosystems.Familiarity with creator-led content, social media storytelling, and performance-driven content strategies is a plus.
