About the Role:
As a Performance Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating unique, high-impact, and engaging content for industries like FMCG, Automobile, Telecom, and BFSI. As a core member of the Performance Content team at Performics India, you will play a fundamental role in scaling content production through a hybrid approach of human creativity and AI-powered inputs.
You will learn, train, and collaborate with Content Strategists and Project Teams to ensure the delivery of high-performing, user-centric, and search-optimized assets across these diverse industries.
Responsibilities:
- Industry Research & Ideation: Conduct deep research to understand the specific nuances of the FMCG, Automobile, Telecom, and BFSI sectors.
- SEO & GEO Strategy: Understand and execute comprehensive keyword research for traditional SEO and deploy Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve visibility in AI-driven search environments.
- Multi-Channel Content Creation: Write high-converting on-page articles, category pages, product descriptions, and app-store copies tailored to the target audience of each industry.
- AI-Augmented Workflow: Utilize prompt engineering to accelerate research, draft structure, and generate content, ensuring high-quality output that maintains brand voice and factual accuracy.
- Content Governance: Ensure thoroughness, factual accuracy, and regulatory compliance (where applicable) in all AI-generated and human-written content.
- Performance Optimization: Learn and utilise tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and AI-content analytics platforms to monitor performance and maximize marketing impact.
- Editorial Excellence: Write unique, engaging headlines and body content that bridges the gap between technical industry details and consumer readability.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in writing long-form content for digital platforms, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to varied industries like FMCG, Auto, Telecom, and BFSI.
- Communication: Exceptional command over written and spoken English, and the ability to adapt to different brand personas.
- Technical Proficiency: A strong grasp of digital tools and a tech-first mindset. A level of comfort in managing workflows that involve AI-content tools, LLMs, and prompt-based research.
- Analytical Skills: Creative ideating, rigorous proofreading, and a data-driven approach to research.
- Agility: A natural curiosity to stay ahead of the curve in AI-marketing developments and industry-specific trends.
