Role Overview  

We are hiring a full-time Content Writer to create engaging, SEO-optimized content around yoga, spirituality, wellness, and holistic health. You'll craft blog posts, guest articles, website copy, and educational content that reflects our school's voice and values.

Key Responsibilities  

- Content Creation: Write high-quality blog posts, articles, and website content on yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, spirituality, and wellness topics  

- SEO Writing: Develop SEO-friendly content using keyword research to improve organic reach and rankings  

-AI Ranking: Strong understanding of Ranking on Google AI overview and ChatGPT-type platforms 

- Topic Research: Identify trending and relevant topics in yoga, spirituality, and health & fitness to plan content calendars  

- Guest Posting: Write and pitch guest posts for external blogs to build authority and backlinks  

- Internal Blogs: Maintain and update the Nirvana Yoga School blog with consistent, value-driven posts  

- Collaboration: Work with marketing and teaching teams to ensure content aligns with our programs and philosophy  

Requirements  

- Proven experience in content writing, preferably in health, fitness, or wellness niches  

- Strong understanding of SEO-friendly writing and on-page SEO basics  

- Knowledge of yoga, spirituality, and holistic practices recommended  

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills  

- Ability to independently choose compelling topics related to yoga & spirituality  

- Experience writing both internal blogs and guest post articles  

- Passion for content writing and an interest in a yogic lifestyle  

- Willing to relocate for a full-time, in-office role
