Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Writer role based at Kalinga University in Raipur. The Content Writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate content for the university's website, brochures, prospectuses, social media, newsletters, and other communication materials. Daily responsibilities include researching academic programs and institutional initiatives, drafting and revising content, and collaborating with faculty and administrative teams to ensure factual accuracy and consistency of messaging. The role involves proofreading and editing copy to maintain quality, tone, and adherence to institutional guidelines. The Content Writer will also help maintain content calendars and support content strategy for student outreach, branding, and public communication.

Qualifications

• Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for academic and promotional contexts.
• Proficiency in Content Strategy and Research to plan, develop, and optimize content aligned with institutional goals.
• Solid Proofreading skills with attention to grammar, clarity, and detail.
• Excellent command of English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Familiarity with higher education environments, academic communication, or university branding is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Raipur, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and experience with content management systems or publishing tools is beneficial.
