Role Description:
- Assist in writing scripts, screenplays, and storyboards for educational videos, lesson modules, ads, and promotional content for K–12 and early learning audiences.
- Support the translation of curriculum objectives into clear, age-appropriate narration, dialogue, and visual cues for video production.
- Collaborate with video producers, editors, illustrators, and instructional designers during shoots and script refinement.
- Learn and apply basic video production concepts — framing, pacing, scene transitions, and visual storytelling — to support content quality.
- Contribute to marketing and brand content: blog posts, social media scripts, video captions, newsletters, and campaign copy aligned with BrightChamps voice.
- Help develop assessments, practice exercises, teacher notes, and facilitation guides.
- Edit and proofread scripts and content for clarity, tone, grammar, continuity, and brand alignment.
- Support localization of content for Indian audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and accessibility.
- Maintain version control, documentation, and asset organization in content management systems.
- Incorporate feedback from learners, parents, instructors, and creative reviews to iterate on content quality.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Film, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience (including coursework, personal projects, or prior internships) in scriptwriting, screenplays, or scripting for video, animation, or digital content.
- Basic understanding of video production (pre-production planning, shooting basics,) is a plus.
- Strong writing skills with a good command of English, grammar, and narrative structure.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; eager to work cross-functionally with creative and education teams.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
