This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- News reporting, blog writing & press release writing
- Monitoring news sources (social media, wire services, press releases) for breaking updates and story leads
- Researching and rewriting relevant news without plagiarism
- Conducting research through interviews, public records, and credible sources
- Creating accurate, engaging, and well-structured news content
- Writing clear and concise articles following journalistic principlesaccuracy, fairness & objectivity
- Creating promotional/marketing content for clients
- Producing supplementary multimedia content (photos, videos, podcasts)
- Choosing the best vocabulary and tonality based on context
- Working collaboratively with editors and team members to meet editorial standards
- Developing attention-grabbing titles, headlines, intros, and preludes
- Participating in editorial discussions and pitching story ideas
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English/Journalism or related field.
Experience Writing For a B2B Audience Would Be Preferred.
2+ Years of relevant experience.
Polished excellent writing skills, content research
Using the correct style for writing
Candidate must have own laptop (with all genuine licensed software) and mobile to carry out regular duties.
