Job Profile:

• Write, edit, and publish high-quality digital content including news features, explainers, and trending stories
• Translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and reader-friendly formats
• Create compelling headlines, intros, and story structures optimized for digital consumption
• Ensure content is accurate, well-researched, and aligned with editorial standards
• Track trending topics and produce timely, relevant content
• Optimize stories using SEO best practices and audience engagement strategies
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, and design teams for effective content presentation
• Adapt content for social media and other digital platforms

Desired Profile:

• 3–4 years of experience in content writing, preferably with a news media organization
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong research, writing, and storytelling skills
• Understanding of digital publishing, SEO, and content trends
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom
• Familiarity with CMS tools and analytics platforms is an advantage
• Prior experience in news, current affairs, or editorial content is preferred

Experience:

3-4 years of experience in the Newspapers or Television industries

Qualification:

The candidate should have a Master's in Journalism / Mass Communication / English Literature / Political Science with Strong English-language skills.
