Content Writer & Communications Head

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Function: Marketing / Brand / Corporate Communications

Reporting To: Chief Growth Officer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Content Writer & Communications Head to lead content strategy, brand communication, thought leadership, corporate communications, PR support, internal communication, and digital storytelling.

This role requires a strategic communicator who can translate complex healthcare, clinical, AI, and digital health concepts into clear, credible, and impactful narratives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging multiple audiences, including doctors, hospitals, patients, caregivers, enterprises, investors, media, partners, government stakeholders, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Own the overall content strategy across website, social media, campaigns, events, PR, internal communication, and thought leadership.
  • Develop content calendars aligned with business goals, product launches, partnerships, clinical updates, and leadership initiatives.
  • Create audience-specific content strategies for doctors, hospitals, patients, enterprises, investors, partners, government stakeholders, and employees.
  • Build content programs that drive brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, lead generation, product adoption, and market education.

Brand Communication & Messaging

  • Strengthen and maintain Tricog's brand voice across all communication channels.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and product narratives for cardiac diagnostics, AI-enabled ECG solutions, remote cardiac care, and digital health offerings.
  • Translate complex clinical and technical concepts into simple, accurate, and compelling communication.
  • Maintain consistency across website, sales collateral, presentations, social media, events, PR communication, and internal messaging.

Content Creation

Create high-quality content across formats including:

  • Website content and landing pages
  • Blogs, articles, and thought leadership pieces
  • LinkedIn and social media content
  • Emailers and newsletters
  • Press releases and media communication
  • Leadership and founder communication
  • Case studies and customer stories
  • Product brochures and sales collateral
  • Event communication and speaker profiles
  • Webinar and video scripts
  • Patient education content
  • Internal communication
  • Award nominations and investor communication

Corporate Communications & PR

  • Support company announcements, partnerships, product launches, awards, events, funding updates, and major milestones.
  • Draft press releases, spokesperson statements, media notes, and leadership communication.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies, media partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure communication accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop leadership talking points and communication briefs for strategic engagements.

Thought Leadership

  • Work closely with founders and senior leaders to build strong thought leadership programs.
  • Draft articles, speeches, LinkedIn posts, interviews, panel notes, and event messaging.
  • Build narratives around healthcare access, AI in healthcare, cardiac care innovation, digital health adoption, and healthcare transformation.

Product & Business Communication

  • Partner with product, clinical, sales, and business teams to develop compelling product and business communication.
  • Create product explainers, one-pagers, FAQs, proposals, pitch deck content, case studies, email templates, brochures, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ensure all claims are clinically accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Digital & Social Media

  • Lead content creation across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X, and relevant digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with design and video teams to create engaging visual and video-led content.
  • Develop content around product stories, clinical impact, company milestones, customer success stories, leadership insights, employee stories, events, awards, and educational topics.
  • Support performance marketing initiatives with high-converting campaign copy.

Healthcare Content Accuracy

  • Work closely with doctors, clinical experts, and product teams to ensure medical accuracy.
  • Review content for patient safety, clinical appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain approved repositories of clinical facts, product claims, definitions, and disclaimers.
  • Ensure content balances medical credibility with readability.

Internal Communication & Content Governance

  • Support company-wide communication, leadership updates, town halls, culture initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
  • Build content repositories, templates, review processes, and approval workflows.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, governance, and timely delivery across all communication assets.
  • Track content performance and continuously improve communication effectiveness.

Experience Required

  • 5-8 years of experience in content writing, corporate communications, PR, journalism, healthcare communication, brand communication, or marketing communication.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, diagnostics, medtech, hospitals, pharma, SaaS, or technology sectors preferred.
  • Proven experience creating content across websites, social media, campaigns, PR, leadership communication, and sales collateral.
  • Experience working with senior leaders, product teams, clinicians, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus.

Skills Required

  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex healthcare, clinical, technical, and business topics.
  • Strong understanding of brand messaging, positioning, audience segmentation, and content strategy.
  • Excellent command of grammar, structure, clarity, and tone.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment around healthcare communication, content accuracy, and public messaging.

Good to Have

  • Healthcare PR or corporate communication experience.
  • Experience writing for doctors, hospitals, patients, investors, and government stakeholders.
  • Founder and executive thought leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing funnels, and performance marketing.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, Notion, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
  • Experience converting clinical studies, research papers, and technical documents into publishable content.
