Content Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Content Lead who can drive organic growth through strategic, high-quality, search-optimized content. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO, hands-on content expertise, and the ability to manage and mentor a small team of writers to consistently deliver performance-driven content.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the SEO content strategy aligned with business and growth goals
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP analysis to identify content opportunities
• Plan, create, and optimize high-performing content for organic search
• Manage, mentor, and review work of content writers to ensure SEO best practices
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to align content with campaigns
• Optimize existing content for rankings, traffic, and conversions
• Monitor performance via tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
• Ensure on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, internal linking, schema, readability, etc.)
• Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices

Requirements

• 24 years of experience in SEO content or organic growth roles
• Proven experience managing or mentoring content writers
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword mapping, and content structuring
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush/GA/GSC)
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into action
• Basic understanding of technical SEO is a plus
