What You'll Do
Write viral-focused scripts, skits, dialogue, and narrative concepts for short-form & long-form content
Build screenplays, story arcs & creative frameworks for YouTube videos (educational, entertainment, challenges, breakdowns, etc.)
Plan and break down episodes into shot lists, storyboards, pacing beats, and key moments
Work with editors and videographers to direct, guide, and elevate visual storytelling
Craft YouTube-specific hooks, retention strategies, and narrative pacing
Ensure all content aligns with current trends in the US/UK creator space
Sit with the team during edits to fine-tune humour, timing, transitions, and flow
Develop new content IPs recurring formats, characters, challenges, storylines
Research trends, memes, and platform dynamics so ideas stay fresh & bingeable
Collaborate across teams to make sure execution matches the creative vision
What We're Looking For
Strong writing skills can create tight, funny, viral-ready scripts
Experience in screenplay writing, sketch writing, or long-form storytelling
Good understanding of direction, shot framing, and cinematography basics
Deep knowledge of social media + YouTube formats
Understanding of retention, pacing, hooks, cold opens, cliffhangers
Ability to manage end-to-end creative processes
Experience collaborating with editors, videographers, and on-set teams
Portfolio of scripts or videos you've conceptualised or directed
Bonus Skills
Comfortable appearing on camera (not required, just a flex)
Knows creator economy trends, storytelling styles, and meme culture
