Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Remote Content & Social Media Intern to join our growing marketing team. As a Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) student or graduate, you will play a key role in shaping our brand's digital voice. You will assist in content ideation, copywriting, and managing our multi-platform social media presence.
This is a 100% remote position requiring an individual who is highly self-motivated and possesses exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Research, draft, and edit high-quality written content for our company blog, weekly newsletters, and website.
- Social Media Management: Assist in planning the monthly content calendar for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok/Reels. Write engaging captions and schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
- Trend Tracking & Ideation: Monitor digital media trends, viral hooks, and competitor strategies to brainstorm fresh ideas for short-form video and graphics.
- Basic Graphic/Video Assistance: Collaborate with the design team to create basic social media graphics (using Canva) and assist with simple video editing for reels/shorts.
- Community Management: Engage with our audience by responding to comments, direct messages, and tracking user feedback to foster community growth.
- Analytics Reporting: Assist in gathering weekly performance data (likes, shares, reach, click-through rates) to help optimize future content strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's / Post-Graduate degree in Mass Media (BMM), Communication, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (a sharp eye for grammar and storytelling is a must).
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Familiarity with digital tools like Canva, Notion, and Google Workspace. (Knowledge of Figma, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively via Slack and Zoom.
