Title: Associate Content Researcher/Content Researcher, MID, Mumbai

Team:

As an essential part of Morningstar Global MID Organization, MID Content Researcher Team is responsible for:

  • Data process solution analysis and impact analysis for new data or data changes
  • Business rule management
  • Platform change request review and sign-off
  • Productivity metrics reporting and providing analysis and insight on productivity changes

The objective of the Content Research team is to build deep subject matter experts and commit to deliver deep data insight and high-quality data solutions to drive operational excellence in our Global MID team.

Role:

Morningstar is seeking a self-motivated Associate Content Researcher for Managed Investment Data (MID) team. In this role, you will mainly work with content design team, tech team and data processing team to develop and implement enhancements to various data and analysis of data. You will be a key contributor to design new data content process flow and user interface, build creative tool and provide constructive consultant for data process. This position is based in our Navi Mumbai (Vashi) office, 2 mins walk from the Vashi railway station.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with content design team and data processing team to design new content process flow and user interface, build business logic to ensure new content workflow is built properly
  • Translate system improvement requirement or data requirement through detailed written specifications to support the tech development work
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and impact analysis to evaluate data solution / data collection methodology feasibility and impact
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure proper implementation
  • Understand the data collection, system and back-end logic and be the escalation point for the related data issues
  • Maintain database backend knowledge and ensure all the related CR analysis work is well documented

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-years professional experience working in investment data industry with wide and deep database knowledge
  • A bachelor's/master's degree
  • Be familiar with at least one of SQL, Python
  • Strong quantitative, business analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English verbal/presentation/written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • CFA certifications are preferred
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML is an advantage
