Primary objective: Provide actionable trend research and content recommendations that inform editorial planning and improve audience engagement.
Key responsibilities (measurable):
Produce a concise Trend Brief (1–2 pages) weekly highlighting the top 5 fashion & lifestyle trends, supporting data sources, and suggested content angles.
Deliver 2–4 content idea briefs per week (title, recommended format, target audience, and suggested visuals) for editorial and social teams.
Update and maintain the content research database at least twice weekly; ensure each entry includes source, date, and relevance note (target: min. 8 new entries/week).
Run a monthly content performance analysis (engagement metrics, CTR, time on page) and present a 1-page improvement plan with 3 actionable recommendations.
Monitor competitor activity and platform-level trends daily using tools (e.g., Google Trends, social listening); flag urgent opportunities to the content team within 24 hours.
Collaboration & reporting:
Report to the Content Manager / Senior Content Manager and provide a weekly status update summarising findings and next steps.
Work closely with Content Writers, Social Media Manager, Designers, and SEO specialists to translate research into publishable content and campaign ideas.
Participate in the weekly editorial planning meeting and present top trends and recommended content priorities.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Proficiency in research methodologies and content analysis
Basic understanding of SEO and content management systems like WordPress
Strong analytical and organisational skills
