About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to assist in discovering, researching, and acquiring high-quality user-generated videos for our social media channels. You'll work closely with our Content Research & Partnerships Manager to identify trending content, connect with creators, and help manage permissions and collaborations. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about social media and storytelling.
Content Research & Curation
- Research trending topics and viral videos across platforms like Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Analyse competitors to identify potential content opportunities.
- Ensure all sourced content aligns with our brand style and audience.
Creator Outreach & Permissions
- Identify and contact content creators via email, phone, or social media.
- Explain our content usage process and request permissions.
- Maintain a record of all communication, agreements, and permissions.
Content Compliance & Optimisation
- Ensure all acquired content meets copyright and usage guidelines.
- Track performance of sourced content and suggest improvements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong interest in social media, trends, and digital storytelling.
- Good communication skills (spoken and written).
- Confidence in reaching out to people online.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with platforms like Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Quick learner, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualification:
- Recent graduates in Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
