About the Role
We are looking for a Group Head – Content Planner with a strong background in digital and integrated marketing agencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing content strategies, driving always-on brand communication, and creating impactful content ecosystems across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead content planning and strategy for multiple brands across digital and integrated campaigns.
- Develop and manage comprehensive content calendars aligned with brand objectives and marketing priorities.
- Conceptualize and execute always-on content programs that drive engagement, visibility, and brand growth.
- Collaborate closely with creative, social media, strategy, and client servicing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Translate brand objectives, consumer insights, and trends into effective content strategies.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across platforms.
- Monitor content performance and optimize strategies based on data, insights, and platform trends.
- Present content recommendations, campaign ideas, and strategic plans to internal and client stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior content planners and content teams.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in a digital or integrated advertising agency.
- Proven expertise in content strategy, content planning, and content calendar management.
- Strong experience managing always-on digital campaigns and brand-led content initiatives.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, digital content formats, and audience behavior.
- Ability to convert business and marketing objectives into engaging content strategies.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across multiple brands and categories is preferred.
Preferred Background
- Candidates from leading digital, social, content, or integrated agencies.
- Exposure to FMCG, lifestyle, consumer, retail, or D2C brands will be an advantage.
