About the Role
KadhaiShorts is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Operations & Acquisition Coordinator to support our Content Acquisition and Content Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing content workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking projects, handling data management, and ensuring smooth execution from script evaluation to content delivery.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of storytelling, content development, and project coordination within the media, entertainment, OTT, or digital content industry.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain content acquisition databases, trackers, and project documentation.
· Coordinate with writers, creators, production teams, and internal stakeholders.
· Read, review, and summarize scripts for internal evaluation and tracking.
· Support content acquisition activities, including script submissions and content pipeline management.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, reviews, presentations, and follow-ups.
· Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely execution.
· Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates for management.
· Assist in content planning, development, and operational workflows.
· Maintain proper documentation of content rights, agreements, and acquisition records.
· Work closely with creative, production, and business teams to streamline processes.
· Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination, PMO, Content Operations, Content Acquisition, or a similar role.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
· Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in script evaluation, content development, or content acquisition.
· Understanding of OTT, digital media, entertainment, or production workflows.
· Knowledge of project tracking and workflow management tools.
· Ability to create reports, dashboards, and process documentation.
· Experience working with creative teams and content creators.
Added Advantage
· Exposure to Script-to-Screen workflows.
· Understanding of content lifecycle management from acquisition to production.
· Experience coordinating with writers, directors, production teams, and creative stakeholders.
· Familiarity with short-form content, OTT platforms, and digital entertainment ecosystems.
