Qualifications & Experience:

  • 13 years of experience in:
  • Content moderation
  • Social media moderation
  • Or equivalent newsroom experience (print/digital/TV)
  • Familiarity with news and media editorial policies
  • Proficient English communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must meet B2 level comprehension standard

Role: Content Moderator

Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor user-generated content (e.g., comments, images, videos, posts, reviews)
  • Identify and take appropriate action on content that may be:
  • Offensive
  • Harmful
  • Inappropriate
  • In violation of legal or community standards
  • Ensure compliance with platform guidelines, legal frameworks, and editorial policies
  • Flag or remove content involving:
  • Hate speech
  • Violence
  • Nudity
  • Misinformation
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderators or legal teams for further handling
