Role Summary
Mavlers is looking for a Content Marketing specialist who can build and drive high-impact content strategies for global agencies and direct brands.
This role is not for a generic writer or blog manager. We need someone who can connect content, SEO, AEO/GEO, AI visibility, user intent, and business outcomes into one clear strategy. The ideal candidate should be strong in content planning, search-led content strategy, content optimisation, editorial quality, and AI-assisted content workflows.
You will work across different industries and client types, building content systems that improve organic visibility, AI discoverability, engagement, qualified traffic, and conversion intent.
Non-negotiable Experience
- Build content marketing strategies aligned with client goals, ICP, funnel stage, and business outcomes
- Create content roadmaps covering blogs, landing pages, service pages, comparison pages, thought leadership, and other key formats
- Conduct keyword research, SERP analysis, competitor research, topic clustering, and content gap analysis
- Develop strong content briefs with clear search intent, structure, entities, internal linking, and CTA direction
- Partner with SEO, design, paid media, analytics, and account teams to ensure content strategy is commercially relevant
- Refresh, optimise, merge, prune, and improve existing content based on performance trends
- Drive AEO/GEO/AI-search readiness through structured, high-quality, citation-worthy content
- Use AI tools and automation intelligently for research, ideation, briefing, scaling, QA, and operational efficiency
- Review content output for quality, originality, factual accuracy, clarity, and strategic fit
- Track and report on rankings, traffic, engagement, content contribution, and conversion-oriented impact
- Present recommendations, insights, and performance direction clearly to internal teams and clients
Non-Negotiable Skills
- 6+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or SEO-led content roles
- Strong experience in SEO content strategy for B2B, SaaS, eCommerce, D2C, or lead generation businesses
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, search intent, topic clustering, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content audits
- Strong understanding of AEO, GEO, AI Overviews, LLM visibility, and content discoverability beyond traditional searc
- Experience building content briefs, editorial workflows, and scalable content systems
- Strong editing and quality judgment; able to spot weak, generic, or AI-heavy content quickly
- Exposure to AI and automation tools in content workflows
- Comfortable using tools such as GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Looker Studio, CMS platforms, ChatGPT/Claude or similar tools
- Strong communication and consultative thinking for agency and client-facing environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a digital agency / white-label / multi-client environment
- Experience working with US, UK, AU, EU, or other global markets
- Exposure to content performance reporting tied to leads, SQLs, revenue influence, or business KPIs
- Experience managing writers, freelancers, or content production workflows
- Working knowledge of programmatic content, content automation, or AI-driven QA workflows
