The Trust is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to providing holistic support for cancer patients. They strive to improve the lives of those affected by cancer by offering comprehensive assistance, including medical care, emotional support, and practical resources.
Summary:
A Mumbai-based non-profit organization providing holistic care, financial aid, and accommodation to cancer patients is seeking a creative and multitalented individual to fill the role of a Content and Communications Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to effectively engage stakeholders and raise awareness about the Trust's mission and activities. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual with prior experience in the NGO sector, preferably in healthcare.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Own the trust's content & campaign strategy across online social media channels & offline campaigns.
- Content creation, writing & consolidation of all data that can be used for external purposes.
- Develop and implement all external communication strategies to effectively convey the Trust's mission, programs, and impact to various stakeholders.
- Lead on all external media content, including pamphlets, brochures, press releases & newsletters to build organizational visibility
- Oversee all donor communications & relations via donor portal.
- Work with CEO & Board of Trustees on quarterly & annual reports, including utilization reports
- Work with web developers to update and revamp the Trust's website
- Build and lead a small internal content team
- Develop marketing campaigns from scratch to promote the Trust's initiatives and events

- Strong design skills and knowledge of graphic design software/tools would be a plus
- Excellent CMS & website management skills
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of social media channels
Prior Experience:
- 5+ years of full-time experience working within content creation & development within the NGO ecosystem, preferably healthcare
- Experience in content writing & designing for annual reports, newsletters, videos, website & social media channels including Instagram, Linkedln, Facebook and Youtube (incl. posts, stories, reels,)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field (Mandatory)
