Content Manager

About the role

Meolaa builds brands that people love — and words are how we make them feel that love. As our Content Writer, you'll write across every surface where Meolaa shows up: product pages, social captions, email flows, ads, packaging copy, and brand storytelling. You won't be filling a content calendar. You'll be shaping how a brand sounds.

We're not looking for someone who writes well. We're looking for someone who thinks in stories and feels in details.

What you'll do

• Write product descriptions that sell without sounding like they're trying to sell
• Own social content — captions, hooks, carousel copy — across Instagram, YouTube, and more
• Craft email and WhatsApp campaigns that feel personal, not promotional
• Collaborate with design to make sure copy and visual work as one
• Write ad copy for Meta and Google — short, sharp, conversion-focused
• Contribute to brand storytelling — founder content, campaign narratives, brand voice docs
• Adapt tone for different audiences — Gen Z discovery vs. gifting vs. loyalty

Must-haves

• Strong writing instinct — clean sentences, clear thinking, zero fluff
• Genuine feel for beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle categories
• Ability to write in multiple tones without losing brand identity
• Comfortable working fast in a startup environment
• Portfolio with real-world writing samples (personal projects count)

Good to have

• Experience with a D2C brand or agency handling beauty/FMCG
• Basic SEO understanding for web and product copy
• Familiarity with Notion, Canva, or content management tools
