Content manager cum video editor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Manager cum Video Editor role based in Kozhikode. The role involves planning and managing content for digital platforms, including drafting posts, articles, and visual narratives that showcase projects and services. The Content Manager cum Video Editor will handle video production end-to-end, including storyboard development, shooting coordination (if required), editing, adding graphics, and optimizing videos for multiple channels. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the design and project teams to gather information, maintaining a content calendar, ensuring brand consistency, and tracking engagement metrics. The role also involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, adapting content for different audiences, and supporting marketing campaigns with relevant multimedia content.

Qualifications

• Content management and planning skills, including experience creating and organizing content for websites and social media.
• Video editing skills using common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools), with the ability to produce polished, engaging videos.
• Strong writing and communication skills for drafting clear, concise, and brand-aligned copy.
• Basic graphic design and visual storytelling skills to support thumbnails, social media creatives, and video graphics.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, online engagement metrics, and content optimization for different platforms.
• Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback.
• Relevant education in communications, media, design, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Handle video shooting, lighting & setup (Mobile / Camera)

- Edit reels, YouTube videos, ads & promotional videos

- Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles & music

- Manage and organize raw files and final videos

- Upload and manage content on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc.

- Work with the marketing & content team for new idea
