Job Description

CONTENT & COPY LEAD

Role Purpose

Lead the creation of compelling, insight-driven content and copy that builds brand voice, drives engagement, and strengthens marketing initiatives and client pitches-while owning Xpresso's communication across all internal and external touchpoints.

Primary Responsibility

Content Strategy & Copywriting

  • Define and evolve brand voice, tone, and messaging systems
  • Write high-impact copy across campaigns, digital platforms, and marketing channels
  • Translate strategy into clear, persuasive narratives
  • Develop long-form and short-form content with clarity and impact

Secondary Responsibility

  • Pitch Content & Storytelling
  • Craft compelling pitch narratives and presentation copy
  • Structure storytelling (problem → insight → idea → solution)
  • Collaborate with strategy and design for cohesive pitch decks
  • Elevate language to improve pitch conversion

Tertiary Responsibility

  • Content Governance & Alignment
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all outputs
  • Review and refine team-generated content
  • Align with strategy, design, and digital teams
  • Maintain high standards of clarity, originality, and effectiveness

Additional Ownership

Xpresso Brand Voice & Communication

  • Own and evolve Xpresso's brand voice and communication style
  • Drive both internal and external communication:
  • Internal: team communications, culture narratives, announcements
  • External: website, social media, PR, marketing assets
  • Ensure all communication aligns with brand guidelines
  • Act as the final gatekeeper for all written expression of the brand
