Rostrum Education is looking for a high-ownership Content Lead to own the company's content engine end-to-end. This role is responsible for strategy, execution, quality control, and performance across social media, long-form content, and campaign communication.
The Content Lead will replace the current role and is expected to deliver high-volume, premium-quality content for high-achieving students and affluent parents applying to top global universities.
Role Overview: The Content Lead is expected to spend the majority of their time creating, publishing, and optimising content, while also guiding and reviewing the work of a small content team.
You Will
- Personally create and publish the majority of Rostrum's core content
- Own social media execution, consistency, engagement, and growth
- Review, assign, and quality-check work for 12 junior team members
- Ensure all content is error-free, on time, and performance-driven
- Track daily outputs and report clearly on progress and results
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management (End-to-End)
- Own the complete social media lifecycle: strategy, content planning, creation, scheduling, posting, engagement, and growth
- Manage 20+ posts/month across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Maintain 100% daily posting consistency
- Drive:
- 5% average engagement rate
- 510% month-on-month follower growth
- Actively monitor comments, DMs, and inquiries with 4-12 hour response SLAs
- Use and maintain tools such as Metricool, Gallabox, Meta tools, etc.
- Content Creation, Writing & Publishing
Write And/or Oversee All Company Content, Including
- 810 SEO-optimised blogs/month (1-2% keyword density)
- Newsletters with 10-15% subscriber growth/month
- Webinar and seminar scripts
- Email campaigns and ad copy
Ensure All Content Is
- Aligned to Rostrum's premium brand voice
- Targeted at high-intent parents and students
- Error-free and publication-ready
- Junior Writer Management & Editorial Control
- Manage and mentor 1 junior content writer
- Assign tasks via a structured editorial calendar
- Review all outputs and:
- Limit to maximum 2 revisions per piece
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery
- Track and report daily output (example: Blogs published - 5 completed)
- Maintain strict adherence to publishing timelines and quality standards
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Design team for creatives
- Video team for reels, shorts, and long-form content
- Ensure assets are delivered on time and aligned with content intent
- Coordinate acceptance announcements, inquiry handling, and campaign rollouts
- Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track and analyse:
- Engagement rates
- Follower growth
- Blog performance
- Newsletter performance
- Share clear weekly and monthly reports
- Use insights to continuously optimise content strategy and formats

Education
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field
- A strong portfolio and proven output matters more than the degree itself
Experience
- 2-4 years of hands-on content experience, with at least:
- 1+ years owning social media end-to-end
- Experience writing long-form content (blogs, newsletters, scripts)
- Prior experience in education, admissions consulting, premium services, or aspirational brands is a strong plus
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring at least one junior writer or content executive
