Assignment: Write a short write up on why and how should culture be preserved

Stipend: 6000 INR per month

Location: Remote

We are looking for someone with a deep-rooted love for art and culture, and the passion to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans by empowering them with technology.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on Indian art forms, crafts, artists, cultural histories, techniques, and traditions through credible secondary sources and artist interactions when required.
• Write engaging artwork descriptions, artist profiles, and art form pages that bring out the stories, processes, and cultural significance behind each work while always incorporating SEO best practices.
• Research and create long-form blogs and editorial content around Indian art, craft, heritage, design, and culture.
• Collaborate with artists to document their journeys, techniques, inspirations, and unique perspectives when required.
• Maintain accuracy and authenticity through fact-checking, organized research documentation, and alignment with MeMeraki's storytelling approach.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Degree in research/Indian art/ heritage/ culture
• Previous coursework or experience related to research
