Designation Associate Content Editor
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview - The Content Editor at upGrad will ensure that all the content (documents, scripts, PPTs, etc) created meets the highest language quality standards.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Editing, proofreading, and rewriting raw educational content in terms of language and grammar and ensuring it is in accordance with the in-house style guide.
- Editing and proofreading large volumes of course content with consistent quality under stringent timelines.
- Preparing training modules on simple as well as complex grammar topics.
- Delivering grammar/language training sessions for the team of content editors / content strategists as and when required.
Skill Set Requirements:
- Language Skills: An excellent command of the English language. Advanced knowledge of English grammar and punctuation, along with the nuances of US and UK English
- Content Editing: Experience in editing and proofreading of different types of content the ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences
- Understanding of eLearning Standards: Familiarity with best practices in eLearning content editing and proofreading and the ability to follow an in-house style guide
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and suggest improvements effectively to the content development team,
- Time Management: Capacity to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
