Role Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Content Developer to develop high-quality study material for the Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification offered by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). The selected candidate will be responsible for creating mock exams, practice question banks, and formula/concept flashcards across all three levels: CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final, aligned with the latest ICMAI syllabus and designed to support serious CMA aspirants.
Responsibilities:
- Create 2 full-length mock exams per level (CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final) following the official ICMAI exam format, pattern, and difficulty.
- Develop a comprehensive practice question bank for each level, organized subject-wise (e.g., Fundamentals of Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Corporate Laws & Compliance), with answer keys and detailed explanations.
- Prepare formula and concept flashcards covering key formulas, cost accounting techniques, financial ratios, and quantitative concepts tested across all three levels.
- Ensure all content aligns with the latest ICMAI syllabus, study material, and guidelines for CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final.
- Review and revise content based on editorial feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency across all levels.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure appropriate difficulty distribution and topic coverage at each level.
Skills:
- Strong command of CMA subjects, including Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Strategic Management, and Corporate Laws across Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels.
- Ability to create clear, accurate, and unambiguous MCQs, descriptive questions, and case-based questions.
- Familiarity with the latest ICMAI curriculum, study materials, examination pattern, and assessment guidelines for CMA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final.
- Strong attention to detail in formula accuracy, numerical problem-solving, cost calculations, and answer justifications.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and MS Excel for content creation, formatting, and review.
- Excellent written English communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts in a clear and learner-friendly manner.
Qualifications:
- Cleared all levels of the CMA qualification, including CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final.
- Prior experience in content writing, academic content development, question paper creation, tutoring, or test-preparation material development is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the ICMAI examination pattern, paper-wise weightage, learning outcomes, and topic distribution across CMA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels.
- Ability to create high-quality content within defined timelines while adhering to academic and editorial guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple subjects and deliverables simultaneously.
- Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement based on reviewer and editorial feedback.
