About the Role
We're hiring a Junior Content Strategist to support the planning, organisation, and performance of our content programme. You'll work alongside senior strategists and content creators to research audiences, maintain editorial calendars, analyse performance data, and ensure our content serves clear business goals. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical and creative in equal measure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining the content calendar across owned channels (blog, social, email, website)
- Conduct audience research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities
- Support the creation of content briefs that guide writers and creators
- Track and report on content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms
- Help audit existing content and identify gaps, outdated pieces, or opportunities for optimisation
- Collaborate with the content, SEO, and design teams to ensure alignment on messaging and goals
- Document workflows, content guidelines, and editorial standards
- Stay up to date with content marketing trends and share relevant insights with the team
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, editorial planning, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with data — able to read dashboards and draw basic insights
- Organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple tasks or projects
- Familiarity with content management systems and/or project management tools (Notion, Airtable, Asana, etc.)
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and how they apply to content
