Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator & Videographer role based in Srinagar. You will plan, script, shoot, and edit video content that showcases HelpRush providers, customer stories, product features, and behind-the-scenes operations. You will collaborate closely with the product, operations, and marketing teams to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories for social media, web, and internal use. You will manage end-to-end production, including location scouting, basic lighting and audio setup, organizing shoots, and maintaining media libraries. You will adapt content for multiple platforms, optimize videos for engagement, and contribute creative ideas to strengthen HelpRush's brand and support key campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong video production skills, including planning, filming, and editing short- and long-form content for digital platforms.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools is preferred.
  • Experience creating content for social media (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn), with an understanding of platform-specific formats and trends.
  • Basic knowledge of storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual narratives to turn product and user insights into compelling content.
  • Ability to handle on-site shoots, including camera operation, framing, basic lighting, and audio capture in real-world environments.
  • Comfort interviewing people on camera and directing non-actors (customers, service providers, team members) to bring out authentic stories.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing content calendars, shoot schedules, and digital asset libraries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages (e.g., Kashmiri, Urdu, Hindi) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Prior experience in startups, tech platforms, or service marketplaces is a plus.
