Content Creator & Social Media Intern (Byculla,Mumbai)

About the Role

Bombay Tools is looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Intern who can take ownership of our short-form video content from concept to execution and performance analysis.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being creative, understands social media, is comfortable in front of the camera, and can independently take a product and turn it into engaging content.

You will work closely with our products and team to understand what we offer, identify relevant content opportunities, create the concept and script, appear in the video, shoot and edit the content, publish it, and analyse how the audience responds.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand our products, their features, applications and target audience.
• Research social media trends, content formats and topics relevant to our industry.
• Develop creative content ideas and strategies for individual products and campaigns.
• Create concepts, hooks and scripts for Reels, Shorts and other short-form content.
• Appear on camera and confidently demonstrate, explain and present our products.
• Plan and shoot video content using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Edit short-form videos with strong pacing, storytelling, captions, transitions and other relevant elements.
• Write engaging captions and prepare content for publishing across social media platforms.
• Manage the end-to-end publishing process and maintain a consistent content pipeline.
• Analyse content performance and identify what is working and what needs improvement.
• Use insights and trends to continuously improve future content.
• Experiment with different hooks, formats, concepts and approaches to increase engagement.
• Collaborate with the internal team to gather product knowledge and convert technical information into simple, engaging content.

Requirements

• Strong interest in content creation and social media.
• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain ideas and products clearly and engagingly.
• Basic to good knowledge of video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools.
• Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form content formats.
• Good awareness of current social media trends and content styles.
• Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, experiment and take ownership of projects.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
