Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator role based in New Delhi. The Content Creator will develop engaging content for product pages, website sections, social media channels, email campaigns, and other digital touchpoints to showcase Mount Emporium's product range and brand voice. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching product features and trends, planning content calendars, writing and editing copy, creating basic visual assets or coordinating with designers, and optimizing content for clarity, consistency, and conversion. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and customer support teams to align messaging, track content performance, and refine content based on data and feedback. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of online shoppers needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content for digital platforms.
  • Experience in content planning and basic content strategy, including managing content calendars and aligning content with marketing goals.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and online retail, including product description writing and understanding of customer journeys.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles (such as SEO fundamentals, social media best practices, and email content), or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfort with using content management systems, online collaboration tools, and basic image or video editing tools.
  • Strong research skills to understand products, audiences, and market trends, and to translate findings into relevant content.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or a content-focused role is preferred but not strictly required for highly motivated candidates with strong portfolios.
