About the Role:
Our social media division is growing fast, and we're looking for a Social Media Lead to spearhead our presence on Instagram and YouTube - not just as a strategist, but as the face of our video content.
If you live and breathe travel, can turn an itinerary into an engaging story, and know what hooks audience in under 8 seconds, you might be the voice we're looking for.
This is a hands-on creator role where you'll ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content, while shaping the future of how travel is discovered online.
What You'll Do:
- Be the face of travel reviews - shoot short-form Reels and long-form YT videos
- Script, shoot, edit, animate - from ideation to publishing, you'll take responsibility of the content end-to-end.
- Leverage AI tools - use the latest tech like Sora, Veo 3, and generative tools to produce content faster and better.
- Create platform-native content - know what works for Shorts vs Reels, and how to make users stop scrolling.
- Track what works - monitor video performance, retention, watch time, and tweak your strategy.
- Engage with the community - reply to comments, run polls, feature UGC, and build trust with real users.
- Collaborate across teams - work closely with product, design, SEO, and digital marketing teams to align content with campaigns.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in content creation, preferably in the travel space.
- Excellent presentation and on-camera skills (YouTube/Instagram presence is a plus).
- Strong video editing chops (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, or similar).
- Comfortable with animation, transitions, sound effects, and thumbnails.
- Deep interest in travel industry (you're the person friends text when planning travel).
- Familiarity with AI tools like Sora, Veo, Runway, etc. for creative acceleration.
- Growth mindset - open to feedback, A/B testing, experimentation.
- Understanding of SEO, thumbnails, click-through rates, retention curves (bonus!).
