If you can turn an iPhone + two founders + a perfume bottle + 45 minutes into six good Reels, we'd like to meet you.

We're EDIT — India's first layering fragrance brand, founded by two Y Combinator founders.

And we're building our content studio in-house.

Not the kind with 17 lights and a three-week turnaround.

The kind that has an idea in the morning and puts it on Instagram that evening.

What you'll make

A lot.

• Performance ads
• Reels
• Founder content
• UGC edits
• Product content
• BTS
• Campaign content
• Memes when appropriate
• Weird ideas that somehow become our best-performing posts

Some things will be beautifully shot.

Some things will be shot on an iPhone in someone's living room.

Both should feel like EDIT.

Your job

Shoot. Edit. Experiment. Repeat.

You'll work closely with our Creative Strategist and founders to:

• Shoot short-form content
• Edit Meta performance ads
• Edit organic Reels
• Turn one shoot into multiple genuinely different assets
• Work with UGC and creator footage
• Nail pacing, hooks, sound design and storytelling
• Experiment with new editing styles
• Help develop EDIT's visual language
• Occasionally look at a terrible first cut and somehow make it great

You're probably right for this if

You understand that the first 1.5 seconds matter.

You know when an edit is trying too hard.

You can make something feel premium without making it feel like a jewellery commercial.

You understand Instagram-native editing.

You're fast.

You have taste.

And importantly:

You can shoot too.

We're not looking for someone who needs a production house every time we want to make content.

Tools

Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci — whatever makes you dangerous.

CapCut — absolutely acceptable.

After Effects — bonus.

An unhealthy number of saved Reels — highly encouraged.

How we work

We're currently remote, but the team is in Mumbai and we'll meet 2–3 times a week for shoots, content days and brainstorms.

You'll work directly with the founders.

We want EDIT to be somewhere you can make things you're genuinely proud to put in your portfolio.
