Company Description Akanksha Singh Basketball (ASB), founded by former Indian captain and basketball icon Akanksha Singh, is a premier training academy offering world-class coaching and facilities. The academy features an indoor mini court with adjustable rims and a full-size outdoor court, providing high-quality infrastructure for skill development. ASB operates from two locations in Bangalore: the Padukone-Dravid Center for Sports Excellence in Betahalasuru.

The academy delivers 360-degree athlete development through strength training, hydrotherapy, sports psychology, residential facilities, nutritious meals, medical aid, and study halls. Structured programs support both outstation and local athletes, welcoming boys and girls from ages 6 to adults up to 60, across all skill levels.

Role Description The Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North, responsible for developing engaging content that showcases ASB's basketball games, practices, trips and community.

Day-to-day tasks include planning and producing photo and video content from games and training sessions and events, writing captions and short-form stories for social media.

The Content Creator will manage content calendars, coordinate with coaches and staff to capture key moments, and ensure consistent visual and written branding across platforms. The role may also involve editing and repurposing existing content, supporting live coverage of tournaments or special events, and collaborating with marketing to increase visibility and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in content planning and creation, including social media posts, short videos, and basic graphic or layout work.
• Ability to capture and edit photos and videos, with familiarity in common editing tools or apps.
• Solid writing skills for clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate captions, articles, and promotional copy.
• Interest in basketball or sports-based education, with the ability to be present on courts and training areas to document activities.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru North and manage multiple content projects within deadlines.
• Expertise in reel editing / shooting
• Understanding of basketball as a game and has done edits before that we can review
