We are a multi-portfolio firm, actively acquiring and onboarding new companies — which means our marketing function operates across multiple brands, audiences, and growth stages simultaneously. This role sits at the centre of that motion.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Content Associate to work under the Content Marketing Lead, supporting marketing execution across BVC's full and growing portfolio. This is not a single-brand role — you will work across multiple portfolio companies at different stages, adapting your voice, format, and output to each context.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-performance environment with multiple concurrent workstreams, brings the discipline to deliver quality work across shifting priorities, and takes ownership without needing constant direction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Portfolio Company Marketing
- Write outreach emails, follow-up sequences, and sales pitch decks for portfolio company GTM motions
- Build case studies and one-pagers using real outcomes and customer success stories
- Support website copy and product marketing assets across portfolio brands
- Maintain quality and brand consistency as the portfolio scales
Social Media — Portfolio Brands
- Manage and execute LinkedIn content calendars across multiple portfolio companies
- Write posts, carousels, and short-form content that is on-brand and audience-specific for each company
- Keep pace with relevant industry conversations and contribute timely, well-positioned content
Executive Communication & Thought Leadership
- Ghost-write LinkedIn posts, articles, and commentary for senior leaders across BVC portfolio companies
- Develop thought leadership content on themes including AI in B2B SaaS, PE value creation, and technology-led growth
- Draft executive talking points, keynote outlines, and speaker briefs for portfolio company leadership
- Adapt tone and voice distinctly for each executive — building a credible, consistent personal brand for each
Internal Reporting & Portfolio Support
- Compile and format internal marketing summaries and cross-portfolio updates for leadership
- Provide content support as new companies are acquired and onboarded into the BVC portfolio
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, marketing communications, or a related role
- Excellent written English — professional, clear, and adaptable across formats and brand voices
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-performance, multi-workstream environment — managing competing priorities without compromising quality
- Comfortable adapting tone, voice, and format across multiple brands and audiences simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and consistency across formatting, messaging, and brand standards
- Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers without needing constant direction
Good to Have
- Experience ghost-writing for executives or senior leaders — LinkedIn, articles, or internal communications
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar) — we use these heavily
- Prior B2B content experience in a SaaS environment
- Experience managing content across multiple brands or business units
