CONTENT AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP MARKETING MANAGER

Aletra is building the next generation of data security: a unified data security platform for regulated companies, across data security, governance, and AI oversight. We help regulated organisations understand, evidence, and govern how sensitive data moves across enterprise systems and AI tools.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Message foundation and narrative
- Own the message spine: category narrative, why-now, pain, outcome, differentiation, and objection handling.
- Apply the approved positioning consistently across every public surface.
- Maintain message discipline when campaigns, events, or commercial conversations require a new angle.
- Create an approved narrative and founder perspective rather than allowing public messaging to be improvised.
Founder voice and company narrative
- Own founder LinkedIn perspective capture, drafting, editorial workflow, and publishing preparation.
- Own the Company LinkedIn editorial voice.
- Maintain narrative consistency across founder and company channels.
- Work through the required approval process before founder content is published.
Thought leadership and buyer education
- Own the content engine across regulatory explainers, long-form B2B pieces, buyer education, audit and assurance readiness, AI-data risk, and category-positioning content.
- Turn complex regulatory and technical material into clear, practitioner-grade content.
- Write for security, privacy, compliance, technical, and regulated-industry audiences.
- Build content that helps buyers understand the problem before they are asked to enter a commercial conversation.
Event, roundtable, and podcast narrative
- Own the narrative for events, roundtables, targeted podcasts, and founder speaking.
- Develop themes, founder talking points, abstracts, claims guardrails, and post-event perspectives.
- Prepare founders for public and private industry conversations.
- Turn useful buyer questions and field observations into future content.
Demand Generation owns audience conversion and follow-up. You protect the message in the room.
Sales-safe messaging
- Build and maintain the objection bank.
- Create safe talk tracks, briefing notes, and discovery language that Sales can use without overclaiming.
- Translate complex topics into language suitable for early buyer conversations.
- Keep Sales-facing messaging consistent with Aletra's approved public narrative.
Content operations
- Stand up and maintain the working content systems: content tracker, editorial calendar, founder-content workflow, and event and podcast tracker.
- Document what has been created, published, approved, and what is in progress.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK WITH
The specific stack will be confirmed at the start.
- Content, CMS, and landing-page copy: Webflow or Framer
- Content tracking: Airtable or Notion
- SEO and organic research: Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4
- Publishing and scheduling: LinkedIn and approved scheduling tools
- Productivity and documentation: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
You should be comfortable learning and operating the confirmed stack without relying on a large support team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- 6-8 years of B2B SaaS marketing, content, editorial, or thought-leadership experience.
- Early-stage or zero-to-one experience.
- Comfort shipping visible work every week without heavy structure.
- Strong writing, editing, and content judgment.
- A practitioner tone rather than an agency tone.
- Ability to write for technical, security, compliance, or regulated-industry buyers.
- Experience owning content pillars, an editorial calendar, and consistent founder and company narratives.
- Ability to personally research, write, edit, and improve content.
- Ability to work in person from Bengaluru.
Strongly preferred (any two)
- Cybersecurity or data-security experience.
- DSPM, DLP, or GRC product-category experience.
- Privacy-technology experience.
- Founder or executive ghostwriting experience.
- SEO and organic-growth depth.
Additional advantages
- Familiarity with the DPDP Act 2023, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CERT-In, MeitY, or DSCI.
- Experience writing for CISOs, DPOs, security teams, or compliance leaders.
- Exposure to Indian BFSI or regulated-technology buying cycles.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
- Not a Demand Generation or campaign-operations role. You own the message; Demand Generation owns scoring, routing, and pipeline.
- Not a strategy-deck role. The positioning is established. This is execution.
- Not a brand-redesign opportunity. You apply the brand; you do not redesign it.
- Not a remote role.
