Job Description

Job Title: Group Head – Content & Events Practice

Location: Mumbai

Experience required : 4-6 years

Job Overview

As a Group Head within Omnicom Media Group's Content & Events Practice, you will lead a pod of key client accounts and be responsible for delivering integrated content solutions. This includes strategic event planning, sponsorships, impact properties, IP development, and influencer marketing initiatives.

You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and executing high-impact brand experiences. With a strong blend of strategic thinking and operational excellence, you will contribute to innovative proposals and ensure seamless execution across campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Drive revenue and billing targets for assigned accounts.
  • Support P&L adherence and overall business performance.
  • Develop strategic content solutions aligned with client objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with media teams to integrate content within larger campaigns.

2. Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and build strong relationships.
  • Understand business objectives and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth project delivery and high client satisfaction.

3. Creative Solutions & Execution

  • Lead development and execution of content strategies, events, sponsorships, IPs, and influencer campaigns.
  • Oversee projects from ideation to execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.

4. Team Management

  • Mentor and manage team members to drive performance.
  • Ensure effective delegation and resource utilization.

5. Industry & Vendor Relations

  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners for seamless execution.
  • Identify and onboard partners for efficient delivery.

6. Performance Management

  • Monitor campaign execution, reporting, and overall performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation, financial compliance, and KPI-driven measurement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4–6 years of experience in content strategy, events, influencer marketing, or related roles within media agencies, brands, or publishers.
  • Strong understanding of content-led marketing across platforms and formats.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Strong client management and stakeholder handling skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of media, advertising, and brand ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create impactful presentations.
  • Understanding of costing across content production, events, and influencer campaigns.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for ideation and efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
