Job Description

Designation: Content Analyst

Location: Karur (On-site)

Employment Type: 3-Month Contract

Overview

We're seeking skilled English writers with a strong attention to detail, an ability to grasp and follow complex guidelines, and a passion for clear communication. The role involves creating concise summaries, crafting effective prompts, and ensuring all content aligns with specified protocols. Candidates with a background in Journalism or a related field often excel in this role due to their expertise in clear, impactful writing and their experience adhering to editorial standards.

 Key Responsibilities

1. Summarization: Condense lengthy documents, articles, or transcripts into concise, accurate summaries that capture the essence of the original content. 

2. Prompt Writing: Craft clear and effective prompts for various tasks, ensuring they guide users (or AI systems) toward desired outcomes. 

3. Content Editing & Proofreading: Review written work for clarity, consistency, and adherence to style and formatting guidelines. 

4. Compliance with Guidelines: Interpret and follow complex style guides, compliance requirements, and brand instructions to maintain consistency in voice and tone. 

5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., project managers, editors, data analysts) to understand project objectives and refine content. 

6. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of content, making improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in any field. Equivalent experience in writing/editing also considered. 

Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to produce clear, engaging, and grammatically sound English content. Journalism professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Attention to Detail: Capable of handling complex guidelines and applying them accurately to various writing tasks. 

Adaptability: Comfortable adjusting writing style for different audiences, formats, and topics. 

Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly comprehend source material and distill key points for summaries. 

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration. 

Technical Familiarity: Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; experience with content management systems or AI-driven writing tools is a plus.
