What you'll achieve

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our EMR implementation, applying your technical expertise to configure and optimise one of the world's most advanced clinical systems. You'll collaborate with a passionate and highly skilled teamincluding Configuration Lead, System Configuration Analysts, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Clinical SMEs to ensure ORBIS is technically tailored to meet local clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

As a Content Analyst, your expertise will be central to the successful implementation and optimisation of the EMR system across Australia and New Zealand. Your day-to-day work will involve technical configuration, scripting, integration, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You will:

  • Contribute to the technical configuration workstream within the EMR implementation program for the ANZ region.
  • Design, customise, and implement ORBIS system configurations, including templates, forms, dashboards and patient chart workflows to meet clinical and operational requirements.
  • Scripting using JavaScript and Oracle SQL using ORBIS-specific tools to develop configuration requirements.
  • Ensure configuration governance through proper version control, documentation, and change management processes aligned with Dedalus global and regional standards.
  • Contribute to clinical safety and quality assurance by ensuring all configurations align with patient safety goals and governance frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in clinical system configuration or technical roles within healthcare technology.
  • Understanding of Australian digital health standards and interoperability frameworks.
  • Experience with form, report and dashboard development and deployment
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and SQL scripting
  • Experience working within hybrid delivery environments (e.g., Agile, DevOps, ITIL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and stakeholder-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and build configuration using a structured requirements template.
  • Experience with version control, release management, and configuration lifecycle tooling.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, service bus architecture, and APIs in healthcare environments.

Desirable Requirements

  • Awareness of clinical safety risk management principles and TGA regulatory requirements for clinical software.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical workflows across hospital settings, including inpatient, emergency, pathology, and pharmacy.
