Job Description

Revfer is a live AI-powered platform for small businesses. We need someone to own our entire content and social media presence creating posts, writing blogs, scheduling content, engaging with our audience, and building Revfer's brand from the ground up.

About Revfer

We built an AI platform that helps small businesses compete with bigger companies. Customer service automation that handles questions 24/7, content generation for social media and email, review management, smart analytics, and a community discovery platform where consumers find businesses through trusted recommendations instead of paid ads.

The product is live at www.revfer.com. The tech is built. Now we need the world to know about it.

What You'll Do

You'll own Revfer's voice online. Everything the world sees from us on social media, our blog, and our online communities will come through you. This isn't about posting generic AI is the future content. It's about creating stuff that makes a small business owner stop scrolling and think I need this.

Day to day that looks like:

Social Media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter)

  • Create and publish content that speaks directly to small business owners and solopreneurs
  • Build and manage a content calendar with consistent posting schedule across all platforms
  • Engage with our audience respond to comments, join conversations, build relationships in small business communities
  • Create short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) showing the platform in action, quick tips for business owners, and customer stories
  • Track what's working and what isn't adjust strategy based on real engagement data, not guesses

Blog & Long-Form Content

  • Write SEO-optimized blog posts that drive organic traffic topics like how small businesses can use AI, automation tips, customer service best practices, local marketing strategies
  • Create guides, how-tos, and educational content that positions Revfer as the go-to resource for small business owners exploring AI tools
  • Repurpose blog content into social posts, email snippets, and infographics

Community & Brand Building

  • Engage in relevant online communities Reddit, Facebook groups, LinkedIn groups, Quora wherever small business owners hang out
  • Build Revfer's brand voice that feels helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable without being salesy or corporate
  • Collaborate with our sales team to create content that supports outreach case studies, testimonials, comparison posts
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to keep our content relevant and timely

Email & Newsletters

  • Help build and manage an email list of small business owners
  • Create newsletter content that keeps subscribers engaged and moves them toward signing up
  • Write email sequences for onboarding, feature announcements, and re-engagement

What You Won't Do

  • You won't be running paid ads this is organic content and community building
  • You won't be doing customer support we have a separate role for that
  • You won't be making strategy decks nobody reads everything you create goes live and gets measured

Work Arrangement

This is designed for someone with a full-time job who wants to build a brand from scratch with real ownership. We expect 15-20 hours per week of consistent work. Content creation and scheduling can happen on your own time. Community engagement and posting should align with when our audience is most active.

As Revfer grows, this transitions into a full-time salaried role leading our content and marketing team.

Compensation

  • Equity Ownership stake with standard vesting schedule. You'll own a piece of the brand you're building.
  • Deferred Bonuses Performance-based bonuses tied to growth milestones (follower growth, engagement rates, blog traffic, email list size). Paid out when we close funding or hit a revenue target.
  • Full-Time Salary Begins when Revfer closes seed funding or reaches a pre-defined revenue milestone, whichever comes first.
  • Flexibility Keep your current job. Work on your schedule.

Who You Are

  • You've managed social media accounts or created content professionally not just your personal accounts, you've done this for a brand, company, or client
  • You can write well clear, engaging, jargon-free content that non-technical people actually want to read
  • You understand what makes small business owners tick their time constraints, their skepticism about tech, their desire for simple solutions
  • You're comfortable creating multiple content formats written posts, short videos, graphics, blogs
  • You can manage a content calendar and actually stick to it consistently week after week
  • You think in terms of what gets engagement, not just what looks pretty
  • You're self-directed and don't need daily check-ins to stay productive

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating content in the SaaS, tech, or AI space
  • SEO knowledge keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy for organic traffic
  • Graphic design skills Canva, Figma, or similar tools for creating visuals and infographics
  • Video editing skills for short-form content
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.)
  • An existing following or audience in the small business or startup space
  • Bilingual (English + Hindi) is a plus for our India market expansion

What Success Looks Like

In the first 3 months we'd expect to see:

  • Consistent posting schedule established across all platforms (minimum 4-5x per week)
  • Growing follower base and engagement metrics on LinkedIn and Instagram
  • At least 8-10 published blog posts driving organic search traffic
  • An email newsletter launched with a growing subscriber list
  • A clear, recognizable brand voice that small business owners connect with
