HopLet is building a structured consistency engine for families.
We believe:
Structured Consistency - not intensity - builds lasting good habits in children.
Most parenting struggles are not caused by stubborn kids. They are caused by inconsistent systems, emotional enforcement, and daily negotiation.
Hoplet helps families replace mood-based parenting with predictable structure - using gamified scaffolding that gradually builds independence and strong habits over time.
We are building long-term behavioral systems, not viral parenting hacks.
The Role
This is a high-ownership, hands-on internship.
You will work directly with the founder to help shape Hoplet's voice, positioning, and early community. Your job is not just to create content, but to help translate behavioral thinking into practical, relatable insights for parents.
This is not:
- A Canva posting role
- A meme-page internship
- A certificate-only position
This is a build-from-zero opportunity.
What You Will Work On
1. Strategy and Thinking
- Translate behavioral and habit-building concepts into simple, actionable parenting content
- Help define weekly content themes aligned with our philosophy
- Identify recurring parenting pain points from conversations and community feedback
- Contribute to shaping Hoplet's public narrative
2. Content Creation
- Script short-form videos (Reels / Shorts) with strong hooks and practical value
- Draft thoughtful posts for LinkedIn and Instagram
- Outline and write structured blog articles
- Assist in launching long-form educational content (YouTube / deep-dive pieces)
- Clarity matters more than volume.
3. Community & Learning
- Engage meaningfully with parents in comments and discussions
- Help analyze what resonates and refine messaging accordingly
- Observe patterns in parenting struggles and feed insights back into content and product thinking
Minimum Requirements
- Strong written English and ability to simplify complex ideas
- Demonstrated content creation experience (writing, video, threads, blogs - any format)
- Comfortable scripting short-form video content
- Familiarity with modern AI tools for content and video workflows (e.g. caption generators, editing tools, research assistants)
- Ability to use AI efficiently to improve speed and quality - without losing originality or clarity
- Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week for 3-6 months
- Genuine interest in parenting, habit formation, or behavioral thinking
- Comfortable working in ambiguity in an early-stage startup
Preferred
- Background in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, Communications, or related field
- Experience editing short-form videos (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
- Have built or grown a small page/community
- Experience writing long-form content
