Job Description

Overview

The PFUS Insights Senior Supervisor role will work primarily with the PFUS Marketplace Insights team, focusing on driving PFUS sector-level priorities by stitching together insights from Business Analytics and delivering actionable insights for the PFUS team. This includes working on the AO Foods portfolio alongside the core PFUS portfolio.

The role requires an individual to understand existing datasets and scorecards, while enhancing and automating business reporting to enable stronger, faster, and more effective performance insights for the Marketplace Insights teams.

This also involves connecting multiple data sources through curated metrics and developing calculated metrics that focus on key outcome and diagnostic measures. A critical element of this role is the ability to deliver value-added insights and strategic presentations centred on future growth for PepsiCo in an agile manner.

In the short term, the role will require building a strong understanding of tools, methodologies, and multiple data sources to effectively support stakeholders and address ongoing business questions.

The scope of the role spans the full PFUS portfolio, covering categories such as Savoury, Salty, and AO Foods.


Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

Execute against team charter (SLA) for Reporting & Analytics for PFUS

  • Create category and brand performance analyses by leveraging retail performance data and identifying opportunities to further fine-tune and improve performance
  • Execute market- and brand-level reporting for customer KPI performance (utilising dashboards, templated decks, and reporting tools)
  • Provide business performance explanations, incorporating considerations beyond retail performance drivers
  • Clearly articulate business performance, key drivers, and optimisation opportunities
  • Monitor key channel, customer, competitor, and emerging player performance, and execute reporting at required intervals
  • Respond to ad-hoc follow-ups (double-click analyses) with relevant tables, charts, and narratives

Support Reporting Leads, Senior Managers, and Directors in delivering against information needs articulated by Business Partners, addressing business questions and process requirements

  • Lead and deliver against the needs of stakeholders, requestors, and end users
  • Identify whitespace opportunities within the business and develop roadmaps to unlock growth areas
  • Ensure adherence to defined processes and delivery standards, aligned with agreed timelines, templates, and content management protocols
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery of outputs
  • Monitor and act on regular feedback from end users and Business Partners to continuously improve deliverables
  • Proactively flag and track any risks impacting operational delivery (e.g., facilities, IT resources, recruitment)
  • Support communication with Reporting vertical leaders and Business Partners, including project planning, workflow monitoring, quality checks, and change management
  • Contribute to refining Centre of Excellence processes (e.g., workflow mapping, identifying pain points and bottlenecks) across service delivery and internal operations
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes based on feedback loops from end users and Business Partners

SSC Strategy Delivery:

  • Support SSC strategy execution and business growth roadmap development by identifying whitespace opportunities
  • Contribute to Annual BGS, AOP exercises, and leadership reporting requirements
  • Drive simplification, standardisation, and digitalisation efforts in collaboration with global and sector stakeholders


Qualifications

  • A junior/mid-level Insight or Analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company. 10 years+ experience
  • Education: Masters / Graduate in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing or Management
  • Language: Fluent English
  • Potential to develop leadership and influencing profile in line with Insights Leader of the future definition: Motivates action through fact-based, inspirational material
  • Has a track record of identifying and championing new processes for improving fact-based decision making
  • Can synthesize multiple, disparate data sources into compelling growth strategies. Formulates a strong POV and can articulate future scenarios and is an exceptional story-teller.
  • Strong collaborator Interested and motivated by working with others. Actively creates and participates in opportunities to co-create solutions across markets or brands will be willing and able to embrace Responsive Ways of Working
  • Can easily see how insights/research learning can improve businesses impact and frames up reporting efforts and opportunities to inform business decisions
  • Proven analytics, shopper research experience, consumer insights experience or commercial experience in combination with strong analytical skills
  • High degree of familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data sources, including Nielsen/IRi (POS and HH panel), GlobalData, Kantar, etc.
  • Deep understanding of CPG industry business performance outputs and causal measures, their relationships, and how to bring business performance insights to life visually
  • Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel including ability to write complex formulas
  • Experience with PowerBI or any visualization tool will be a plus
  • Managerial experience: nice to have
  • Operational experience from business servicing sector and/or consulting experience would be a plus
