About the Role
Drive consumer and behavioral insights across the investor lifecycle by combining data (quant) + human understanding (qual) to influence product, marketing, and growth decisions. You will act as the bridge between data, users, and business teams, solving real business problems across onboarding, trading, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Quantitative Insights
- Own business queries through data:
- Funnel analysis (KYC → activation → first trade → retention)
- Cohort analysis (new vs repeat vs dormant investors)
- Track and interpret brand & category metrics:
- Awareness, consideration, trust, NPS, salience
- Derive actionable inferences from:
- Competition Analysis
- Campaign performance data
- Identify growth opportunities & leakages using data:
- Drop-offs, behavioral patterns, feature adoption
- Partner with analytics teams to:
- Define metrics, dashboards, and tracking frameworks
- Validate hypotheses with data
- Consumer & Behavioral Research (Qual + Hybrid)
- Conduct IDIs / FGDs / user immersions to uncover:
- Investor motivations, fears, and triggers
- Trading behaviors (Equity, F&O, IPO)
- Decode behavioral biases impacting decisions
- Complement quant findings with deep user narratives
- Insight Synthesis
- Translate data + research into:
- Clear problem statements
- Segments / personas (new investors, traders, passive users)
- Influence:
- Product (UX improvements, feature prioritization)
- Marketing (positioning, messaging, campaigns)
- Growth (activation & retention levers)
- Brand & Customer Tracking
- Own brand health tracking:
- Awareness, consideration, differentiation
- Run periodic surveys / trackers and synthesize trends
Qualifications
- MBA (Analytics / Marketing / Strategy) - preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Market Research/Consumer Insights
Required Skills
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Research methodologies
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fintech or stock broking
- Familiarity with consumer behavior analysis
Pay range and compensation package
Salary commensurate with experience.
