Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage our project portfolio demand within Consumer Experience area.

The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Directing the full spectrum of demand coordination and project delivery for worldwide infrastructure developments, ensuring that all tasks are executed on schedule and within financial constraints while offering clarity and reliability to stakeholders.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner and advisor, shaping scalable infrastructure solutions by aligning complex business requirements with central IT capabilities and ABB's global IS services.
  • Engaging with strategic partners, service line heads, and internal contributors to enhance collaborations, maintain quality and innovation, promote the utilization of enterprise capabilities, and endorse standardized IS services over customized solutions.
  • Guiding the portfolio governance and international teams to ensure strategic alignment, prioritize tasks, and optimize resources, while enhancing collaboration, ongoing improvement, and effectiveness across different regions.

Qualifications for the role

  • Over 15 years of experience in IS with a Computer Science background.
  • Experience in overseeing and optimizing end-to-end demand for transactional infrastructure build projects across regions and business units, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Ability to enhance the Shop to Deliver experience by ensuring clear communication, predictable outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction while supporting the awareness and reuse of standardized IS services.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for non-standard IS demands, partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, enterprise-aligned infrastructure solutions.
  • Previous experience in promoting the reapplication of organizational capabilities, improving clarity, and stimulating innovation to create long-lasting solutions that align strategic aims.
  • Ability to ensure portfolio alignment with business strategy through effective planning, governance, prioritization, and resource allocation frameworks.
  • Strong experience in working in global teams.
